Agoda sponsors Singapore treasure hunt offering SGD $1 million
Agoda has become a main sponsor for the upcoming #HuntTheMouse cash hunt event in Singapore, which will take place from 16 October to 14 December 2025 and feature over SGD $1 million in prizes.
Singapore-based gamification company Sqkii organises the event and will see more than 600 coins hidden at various locations island-wide. Some of these coins are specially branded as Agoda Flights, in line with Agoda's campaign promoting flight deals to top Asian destinations starting at SGD $39.
Partnership details
Agoda's sponsorship involves a selection of coins featuring the Agoda Flights brand. These coins not only highlight the company's competitive flight offerings but also connect the sponsorship with Agoda's Flights campaign, focusing on affordable international airfares from Singapore.
The #HuntTheMouse event uses a combination of online and offline engagement, with players able to follow daily clues released through Sqkii's social media channels. A real-time map on the official event website allows seekers to monitor which coins are still available and where they are likely to be found. The coins represent cash prizes and are branded by Agoda and other sponsors supporting this year's event.
Community engagement
#HuntTheMouse is regarded as Singapore's largest public treasure hunt. It is open to the public and encourages participation by individuals across a wide demographic. Participants can track down physical coins, each of which is linked to a designated cash amount. The game, running for nearly two months, will distribute SGD $1 million in prize money through more than 600 prizes.
Agoda's connection to the event is also tied to its Singapore headquarters, providing a local link to the project. This sponsorship is intended to reinforce Agoda's presence in Singapore and its commitment to engaging with local communities through island-wide initiatives.

Background on hosts and sponsors
Sqkii has run previous editions of #HuntTheMouse as public treasure hunts, engaging residents and visitors in playful exploration of the Singaporean landscape. Participants use a blend of digital tools, clues, maps, and social channels, along with real-world movement, to hunt for the cash-laden coins.
Agoda, a digital travel provider, offers more than 5 million holiday properties, 130,000 flight routes, and over 300,000 activities that can be booked together online. The company is currently running a campaign to promote international flight deals from Singapore, with rates starting at SGD $39 to various Asian destinations. These deals are highlighted with Agoda-branded coins hidden throughout the city as part of the event.
This partnership reflects the intersection between tourism services and community-based public engagement events in Singapore. The hunt is set to conclude on 14 December 2025.
