AliExpress to give away UEFA EURO 2024 tickets in promotions

AliExpress, the international online retail marketplace under Alibaba International Digital Commerce, has announced plans to give away over 1,000 UEFA EURO 2024 match tickets as part of its promotional campaigns. The giveaways are set to coincide with several of the retail platform's key sales events, including Choice Day and the Summer Sale, with the aim of infusing the shopping experience with the excitement of the forthcoming football tournament.

These promotions are part of a broader initiative by AliExpress to enhance its global consumer engagement and elevate the shopping experience. AliExpress has been named the exclusive global e-commerce sponsor of UEFA EURO 2024 and is investing millions of Euros in discounts and deals to attract both shoppers and sports enthusiasts.

One of the primary promotional events is Choice Day, which will take place from 1 to 7 June under the theme 'Summer Carnival'. This will be followed by the Summer Sale from 17 to 23 June, offering discounts of up to 70% on a wide range of products. Both events are expected to attract considerable consumer interest, driven by the high-value discounts and the allure of UEFA EURO 2024 match tickets.

Additionally, during the tournament itself, which runs from 14 June to 14 July, AliExpress will offer a 'Shake & Win' game. In this interactive activity, users need to log on to the AliExpress app and shake their smartphone within 10 minutes after a goal is scored. This grants them the chance to win discounts of up to 50% on selected products, match tickets, and discount coupons worth up to EUR €500 (GBP £425), with some items available for just EUR €0.01.

Another interactive feature is a fun quiz, available until 23:59:59 PST on 12 June, featuring over 100 questions on UEFA EURO, football knowledge, and AliExpress trivia. Participants who correctly answer at least three questions will earn points and be entered into prize draws for match tickets, official merchandise, and T-shirts. Additional activities will kick off on 13 June, allowing users to show support for their favourite teams, with further lucky draws scheduled for 1-2 June, 17-18 June, and in July.

Highlighting the benefits of the platform's premium service, AliExpress Choice provides free shipping for orders over EUR €8 in the UK. Shipping times range from 5 to 12 days for most European countries, including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK. Customers can also enjoy free returns on Choice products, adding another layer of customer satisfaction.
