Genstore unveils AI agents to run online shops end-to-end

Thu, 5th Feb 2026

Genstore.ai has launched an AI-based eCommerce platform that automates key tasks involved in setting up and running an online store.

The company says the product uses a coordinated set of AI agents that handle activities such as site creation, product listing work, launch preparation and analytics. Genstore positions the service as an alternative to using multiple tools and manual workflows across an online retail operation.

Genstore said it can take a founder from an initial idea to a live storefront in minutes through a prompt-based process. The company also said its beta users have already processed $2.3 million in gross merchandise value through the platform.

Agent teams

The platform assigns separate AI agents to different areas of work. Genstore said a Design Agent creates layout, branding, and motion. A Product Agent generates listings, descriptions, and imagery. A Launch Agent prepares SEO, compliance, and store readiness. An Analytics Agent identifies insights linked to conversion performance.

The company said these agents execute tasks with minimal human input, while the merchant retains control through approvals. It also described a move from store setup towards greater automation in marketing and operations.

Genstore framed its approach as AI-native rather than a conventional eCommerce product with added AI tools. It said it built the product around autonomous execution rather than dashboards and configuration.

"Most eCommerce founders don't fail because they lack ideas-they fail because they're forced to operate alone," said Junwei Huang, Co-Founder and President, Genstore. "Genstore automates the operational grind so founders can lead with vision. We're delivering real autonomy today while building toward a fully self-running commerce future," added Huang.

Full-stack approach

Genstore said it has built data access and decision-making into the platform rather than relying on separate plug-ins. The company said this structure keeps inventory, sales and marketing information connected inside one system.

It said the platform can use integrated live data to recommend actions and then execute them after the merchant approves. Genstore contrasted this with eCommerce setups where merchants coordinate tasks across separate software tools.

The company also described its roadmap using an analogy with autonomous driving. It characterised its current product stage as comparable to driver assistance, with future plans for higher levels of automation across the business.

Genstore said it intends to develop agent-led marketing as part of this progression. It cited plans to upgrade a Campaign Agent into a Marketing Agent that manages cross-channel content dynamically.

Market signals

Genstore said it ranked as the number one Product of the Day on Product Hunt and also trended among the platform's top products of the week. It did not provide additional third-party measures of customer adoption beyond its beta gross merchandise value figure.

The company also announced a USD $10 million seed round. It did not name investors or provide terms.

Huang has worked in software development at Intel and Google, according to the company. Genstore said its team combines experience in AI technologies and eCommerce.

The company said it targets solo founders and small businesses that want to sell online without using multiple tools for store build, product work, marketing and analytics. It described the product as a "full-stack" service delivered through conversational workflows.

"Genstore automates the operational grind so founders can lead with vision. We're delivering real autonomy today while building toward a fully self-running commerce future," said Huang.
