GoComet rolls out agentic AI for Philippine logistics

Fri, 23rd Jan 2026

GoComet has expanded its product line-up for the Philippines market with new agentic AI functions for supply chain and logistics teams, following a customer forum in Manila that drew executives from large local enterprises.

The company presented the updates at Manila Horizon 2026 at the Sheraton Manila Bay. Attendees included supply chain leaders from Jollibee, IMI and Century Pacific Foods, alongside other local businesses.

GoComet said companies in the Philippines face disruption risk from port congestion, fragmented logistics networks and external shocks that affect trade flows. It said local organisations now seek systems that interpret live data and flag risks earlier than traditional tracking tools.

"Visibility tells you where things are. Intelligence tells you what to do next," said Chitransh Sahai, Cofounder & CEO, GoComet.

Agentic AI

The latest release centres on GoComet's AI Centre. The company described it as a suite of systems that monitor operations and provide guidance across planning, execution and risk management. It said the AI agents work as digital assistants inside day-to-day workflows.

GoComet highlighted two tools in particular. It described Incident Lens as a system that connects signals from ports, weather and geopolitical events to individual shipments. It said the feature focuses on earlier detection of disruption and exception events.

The company also presented Viera, which it described as a conversational AI interface for logistics data. It said teams can ask questions in natural language and receive results drawn from operational information.

GoComet said the AI Centre pulls together data points across shipments, documents and communications and then generates prioritised actions. It said the actions include explanations that link back to the underlying signals and records.

The company attached several performance claims to the approach. It said users can improve productivity by up to 2x. It said organisations can reduce freight costs by up to 30% and increase inventory turnover by 17%.

Operating model

GoComet positioned the product update as part of a wider move from visibility tools towards systems that guide decisions. It said this reflects operational requirements in the Philippines, where inbound freight and cross-border trade create exposure to shifting conditions.

Sahai said the company views AI as a way to reshape how teams handle monitoring and exceptions. "Technology only creates impact when it fits naturally into how teams work," said Sahai. "The goal isn't more dashboards - it's fewer surprises," said Sahai.

GoComet said automation can reduce manual data consolidation and routine monitoring work. It said this leaves staff with more time for supplier management and planning tasks.

Philippines growth

GoComet has operated in the Philippines since August 2021. The company said it has recorded about 2.5x annual growth in the country since launch.

It also said the Philippines now represents nearly 20% of its total Southeast Asia customer portfolio. GoComet described this as evidence of growing interest in data-led supply chain management among local enterprises.

The company did not disclose revenue figures for the Philippines or name specific customers in the country beyond attendees at the Manila event. It said it works with more than 500 brands globally across more than 70 countries.

Data sharing

GoComet said discussions at the Manila forum also covered industry collaboration. It said participants focused on data sharing between enterprises, logistics providers and technology platforms.

The company framed that approach as an emerging priority for building resilience across supply networks. GoComet said it expects more organisations in the Philippines to evaluate intelligence-led tools as they address disruption, cost pressure and service expectations.
