Skillsoft names Raianne Reiss as new Chief Marketing Officer

Skillsoft has appointed Raianne Reiss as Chief Marketing Officer, with responsibility for the company's global marketing operations.

Ms Reiss will report directly to Ron Hovsepian, Skillsoft's Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chair. Her remit includes overseeing the company's marketing strategy worldwide, driving demand generation, and strengthening brand awareness among organisations and individual learners undergoing talent transformation initiatives.

Reiss joins Skillsoft with more than two decades of marketing experience in the technology sector, having held senior positions at companies such as Yext, Elastic, Amazon Web Services, and Juniper Networks.

Her most recent role was as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Yext, where she led all major areas of marketing, including corporate brand strategy, communications, product marketing, demand generation, operations, and business development. Prior to Yext, she served as Vice President, Marketing at Elastic, an AI search platform company.

Earlier in her career, Reiss was responsible for marketing across the United States, Canada, and Latin America as Head of Americas Marketing at Amazon Web Services. She has also held marketing leadership roles at Juniper Networks as Director, Americas Marketing; at Tellabs as Head of Global Services Marketing; and at 3Com, in a variety of marketing and sales positions.
