Dematic to showcase automation solutions at CeMAT in Singapore
Dematic, a global provider of comprehensive supply chain, warehousing automation technologies and services, will participate in the prominent CeMAT South East Asia trade show from 15th to 17th May 2024 at the Singapore Expo. The Expo is viewed as the premier destination to assemble industry leaders from Intralogistics, Robotic Automation, Warehousing, Supply Chain Management, and Materials Handling.
In the last three years, Dematic relocated its APAC headquarters to Singapore, reaffirming its commitment to play an integral role in linking the city-state to the broader region. Applying its expertise in supply chain and warehouse automation, Dematic has collaborated with several top Asian Companies, including Lazada RedMart, NTUC Fairprice, Bollor Logistics, and LF Logistics, for key automation projects. This year, the company is eager to demonstrate its latest solutions to Singapore and the wider Asia-Pacific region at the forthcoming CeMAT South East Asia event.
Over the years, higher labour costs, scarcity of land, and the swift expansion in eCommerce, which intensifies both local and global competition, have escalated the need for automation in Singapore and surrounding areas. It is not unusual that global disruptions are boosting this trend, with the present $500m automation market progressing at a speed of over 15% annually. To meet consumers' increasingly demanding expectations regarding product variety, cost-effectiveness, speedy delivery and accuracy, many businesses are making significant investments to automate their supply chain operations. These strengthening efforts are not only enabling them to minimise operational costs but also bring resilience and adaptability to their operations.
Dematic's stall B7 will be located at the entrance of CeMAT, welcoming guests with a modernistic digital showcase presented by a team of industry professionals. Guests from diverse sectors, such as eCommerce, grocery, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, and electronics, can visit the stall to discover how they can incorporate groundbreaking automation solutions to optimise their warehousing and logistic operations. Dematic will also bestow an exclusive digital experience in the Virtual Hub, where guests can gain insights into various Dematic global projects.
