Fluent Commerce named leader in Forrester Wave 2025

Fluent Commerce has been recognised as a 'Leader' in The Forrester Wave: Order Management Systems, Q1, 2025.

Fluent Order Management, a distributed Order Management System provided by Fluent Commerce, is utilised by prominent global brands such as JD Sports, L'Oréal, ALDO Group, LVMH, and Prada. The system is employed for inventory data management at scale and omnichannel order fulfilment across various locations worldwide.

The Order Management Systems sector has experienced considerable development in recent years, with significant alterations occurring since the previous Forrester report was released in 2023. Selecting an appropriate Order Management System is increasingly vital for retailers, given its direct impact on operational efficiencies and the customer experience.

In its evaluation, Forrester assessed the top eight Order Management System vendors against 35 criteria spread over two categories. The firm noted, "It [Fluent Commerce] particularly shines compared to most other vendors in this evaluation in areas such as workflows, order orchestration rules, store fulfilment (pick, pack, and ship or stage), and B2B order management."

Fluent Commerce received the highest scores possible in fifteen criteria. These include enterprise inventory management, inventory segmentation and allocation, workflows, store fulfilment processes, usability and configuration, order orchestration rules, handling of international orders, architecture, and innovation, among others.

According to Fluent Commerce, customers of the Fluent Order Management system notice results swiftly, with implementation periods of less than 12 weeks and early demonstration of return on investment. Customer achievements during the journey include a 93% reduction in cancelled orders, a 52% reduction in shipping costs, a 50% reduction in split shipments, among other notable outcomes.
