Hoppr & Yahoo Advertising announce major partnership in Singapore

Fri, 10th May 2024

Hoppr, a connected TV (CTV) platform, and Yahoo Advertising have launched a significant partnership in Singapore, establishing Yahoo Demand Side Platform (Yahoo DSP) as Hoppr's preferred DSP partner in Singapore. The strategic partnership reportedly offers a unique opportunity for advertisers, providing access to new CTV inventory on StarHub TV+ through a robust CTV/Advanced Television (ATV) solution that leverages Hoppr's patented technology.

This collaboration will offer advertisers access to highly targeted advertising solutions, customised to sync with the viewing preferences and behaviour patterns of households in Singapore. By leveraging the Yahoo DSP, advertisers can plan, activate, and measure premium CTV inventory within multiple channel campaigns.

The partnership reaches a significant landmark in the evolution of targeted TV advertising, marking an era of more efficient advertising effectiveness using advanced ATV technology. The high degree of precision allows the delivery of advertising messages to the most relevant household audiences, thereby maximising the impact and effectiveness of each campaign.

Heading the Commercial Sales department for Southeast Asia at Yahoo, Kenneth Koh, commented on the partnership. He said, "Singapore is witnessing an emerging CTV landscape with exciting opportunities for advertisers. Our partnership with Hoppr offers a unique and potent CTV/ATV solution, bridging linear TV and online digital audiences. Advertisers can now optimise and ensure efficiencies by reaching verified audiences on the big screen through the Yahoo DSP."

In response to the partnering, CEO of Hoppr, Joe Prusz, said, "Thanks to our patented technology, Hoppr is the only company globally that can deliver a guaranteed view of their commercial to advertisers." Prusz emphasised the value in this attribute to advertisers who are keen on ensuring their TV ads gain eyeballs. He added that Hoppr's platform is a "saviour to advertisers" that seeks for their message to break through to the consumer amidst daily distractions.

The partnership underscores the growing relevance of behaviour-driven strategies in ad campaigns. Through advanced analytics and targeting capabilities, the partnership aims to elevate the effectiveness and efficiency of advertising, delivering highly relevant messages to the household audiences. Hoppr and Yahoo are facilitating advertisers to create more meaningful and personalised experiences, achieving higher engagement and conversion rates for households in Singapore.

Yahoo Advertising offers omnichannel solutions and powerful data to engage with our brands and deliver results. The company states it is focused on providing solutions that help global brands reach their audiences in unexpected ways and get inspired.
