Integral Ad Science (IAS), a pioneer in global media measurement and optimisation, is accelerating its expansion in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region by setting up operations in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Alongside this strategic geographical expansion, IAS has also bolstered its leadership team with senior appointments to drive the growth of its AI-driven media measurement and optimisation solutions.

IAS has identified significant growth potential in the APAC region and seeks to service a dynamic customer base in these markets. According to Yannis Dosios, Chief Commercial Officer at IAS, "APAC presents a prime opportunity for IAS to expand its global footprint and connect with a dynamic customer base for long-term growth and market leadership." He further commented on the company's dual focus on adaptability and local context, stating, "We're doubling down on agility and local relevance by building strong, regional teams that understand the nuances of each market."

IAS has appointed industry veterans to head its teams in the different markets. These appointments include Sowarose Charuwatpaiboon, formerly Sales Director for IAS, taking up the role of Country Head for Thailand; Thanh Nguyen bringing her 25 years of industry experience as the newly appointed Country Head for Vietnam; Melvin Wong, with over a decade’s experience in sales and business development, chosen as the Region Head for Hong Kong & Taiwan; and Arfitrianto Zulnaini, previously the Sales Director of Indonesia for IAS, stepping up as the Country Head of Malaysia.

Sowarose Charuwatpaiboon notes her excitement in taking on the new role, affirming that the company's proven solutions resonate well with firms aiming for efficient and transparent advertising. Thanh Nguyen also expressed her enthusiasm to help IAS increase its footprint in Vietnam, acknowledging the increasing demand for measurement and optimisation solutions for digital media in the country. Melvin Wong commented on his role, emphasising that efficiency and return on investment (ROI) are crucial for their business relationships. Arfitrianto Zulnaini conveyed his honour in leading IAS’s business in Malaysia, and his ambition to enhance IAS’s superior media quality solutions in both Malaysia and Indonesia.

Laura Quigley, Senior Vice President of APAC, IAS, put forward the company’s delight on this major expansion. "We are delighted to announce the expansion of IAS’s footprint in multiple regional markets and excited to have a team of very experienced Country Heads leading these operations." Quigley looks forward to the benefits this will bring to regional and global brands, agencies and publishers, underlining the company's cutting-edge technology, transformative AI solutions, keen understanding of local needs, and deep integration with client tech stacks.

With this expansion, IAS now operates in nine markets within the APAC region, including Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, strengthening its position as the media quality partner of choice in this vibrant and rapidly growing region.
