LG Electronics has received 35 awards at the 2025 Red Dot Design Award, including the Best of the Best accolade.

The Red Dot Design Award is known for recognising excellence in design across multiple industry categories and is considered one of the foremost global industrial design award programmes.

Among LG's achievements, the LG SIGNATURE OLED T television was named Best of the Best. Marketed as the world's first wireless transparent TV, it enables users to switch between transparent and opaque modes at the touch of a button. The 77-inch 4K OLED device is intended to provide varied entertainment options as well as flexibility in living space design, offering features such as augmented reality-like visuals and wireless installation options.

The company's LG Self-Driving AI Home Hub, whose project name is Q9, was another highlighted recipient. This smart home product, powered by LG Affectionate Intelligence and enabled by LG FURON, operates as a self-navigating AI agent within home environments. The device was given a Red Dot Design Award and also selected as a winner in the Innovative Design meta-category.

Jurors noted the Home Hub's approachable, pet-like design and its ability to convey different emotions using animated digital eyes. According to the awards jury, its features allow the hub to interact with and understand users in a natural manner, aiming to improve varied smart home experiences and daily living.

In addition to awards for the OLED T and AI Home Hub, LG received 32 further honours in categories spanning refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, TVs, air conditioners, air purifiers, audio products, monitors, and commercial robots.

The results at the Red Dot Design Award follow the company's earlier performance at the iF Design Award 2025, where LG also won 36 awards. Some products, including the LG QNED TV, LG StanbyME 2 and the LG SIGNATURE refrigerator with Smart InstaViewTM, have now collected awards at both design competitions in the same year.

Chung Wook-jun, Head of the Corporate Design Center at LG Electronics, said, "We will continue to push the boundaries of design innovation, leaning into our deep understanding of customers to deliver human-centered innovations in products, solutions and customer experiences."
