NomuPay acquires Total Processing to bolster global payment services
In a significant move to streamline its payment services, NomuPay, an Ireland-based end-to-end payment platform, has acquired Total Processing, a merchant services and bespoke payment processing solution provider. Although terms of the deal have not been confirmed, NomuPay revealed it is a combination of stock and cash.
The deal will further NomuPay's business expansion efforts in Southeast Asia, Europe, and Turkey, and facilitate entry into the Middle East. It builds on NomuPay's recent Series A funding announcement, signifying a rapid progression in the payment platform's strategy for growth and market penetration.
NomuPay's Unified Payments (uP) Platform has been engineered to simplify fragmented payment infrastructure throughout its target regions. The addition of Total Processing's services will continue to uphold this 'agnostic' approach, offering payment service providers and gateway partners robust tools for treasury management, transaction monitoring, and cross-border disbursement. All of this is presented via turnkey reporting dashboards, providing a comprehensive solution for businesses.
NomuPay CEO, Peter Burridge, commented on the acquisition, noting, "At NomuPay, our goal is to provide our customers with an all-access pass to payments, future-proofing their ability to successfully scale in high-growth regions. The acquisition of Total Processing will enable us to unlock that access through dedicated solutioning and customer-driven servicing across Southeast Asia and the rest of the world."
Total Processing, recently recognised as one of the UK's fastest-growing private financial technology companies by The Sunday Times, is known for its unrivalled customer service and intuitive merchant services. Robert Pailin, CEO of Total Processing, said of the deal, "Having NomuPay's acquiring capabilities underpinning our merchant servicing offering is a big leap forward. This partnership will supercharge Total Processing's growth. With more resources, we'll be able to innovate tech faster, expand into new markets, and bring even more value to our merchants."
Expanding on NomuPay's commitment to a customer-first approach, Burridge praised Total Processing, noting that the company "stands out as a company that truly cares about the merchant's experience." He highlighted Total Processing's customer-focused mission, and their dedication to improving businesses through their consultative approach to each aspect of the value chain.
