Multipolitan has raised USD $2 million in seed funding, valuing the Singapore-registered company at USD $25 million before the investment.
The round was led by EmergentX, a venture studio, accelerator and incubator. The funding will be used to launch the Multipolitan App and expand Multipolitan Private Client, the group's service for high-net-worth and affluent customers.
Multipolitan is building a platform that combines immigration, visa, travel and cross-border administrative services. It says the market is expanding as more people live, work and travel across borders, including wealthy migrants, digital nomads and families managing multiple passports and residency arrangements.
Figures cited by the company show cross-border wealth reached USD $15.6 trillion in 2025, while 142,000 millionaires were projected to relocate internationally that year. It also pointed to more than 1.5 billion international trips annually, more than 300 million people living outside their country of birth and an estimated 40 million digital nomads.
The group has two main products. Multipolitan Private Client offers tailored services for clients with more complex residency, wealth and succession needs, while the Multipolitan App is aimed at consumers managing travel, visas and residency records.
The app is organised into three sections: Live, Travel and Stay. According to the company, Live will let users manage passports, visas, residence information and family documents. Travel will combine visa and entry requirements with pre-arrival preparation and flight updates. Stay is designed to help users track time spent abroad, remaining stay allowances and related deadlines.
The service is built on a technology stack that includes INREX, described as an immigration intelligence engine; FlightIQ, a travel intelligence platform; and Visa Connect, an artificial intelligence-based travel visa engine.
Multipolitan said its Private Client business has generated more than USD $4 million in net revenue in less than two years. It said that performance provided early commercial validation and helped shape product development for the broader platform.
The business was founded by Nirbhay Handa and Lee Smith. Handa previously worked as Group Head of Business Development at Henley & Partners, while Smith was a co-founder of Paidy, the Japanese fintech company acquired by PayPal for USD $2.7 billion.
Smith said the company was trying to reduce the administrative burden of international travel and relocation.
"Travel involves managing passports, visas, insurance and pre-arrival documents, on top of tracking flights," said Lee Smith, Co-Founder of Multipolitan.
"Add a family with multiple passports and visas, and it quickly becomes overwhelming. Multipolitan removes the friction of travelling to, or living in, other countries," he said.
Multipolitan says demand for joined-up services is rising as governments compete to attract capital, founders and skilled workers. In that environment, managing international movement increasingly overlaps with wealth planning, family administration and travel logistics.
Handa said the company saw an opportunity to bring previously separate systems into one service.
"Living and moving across countries shouldn't mean navigating dozens of disconnected systems," said Nirbhay Handa, Co-Founder of Multipolitan.
"The Multipolitan App brings flights, visas and immigration guidance into one connected experience, helping people understand where they can go and what it takes to get there. For families facing more complex residency, wealth or succession decisions, Multipolitan Private provides tailored advice. Together, they form the two pillars of our ambition to build a universal platform for global mobility," he said.
Multipolitan employs more than 40 people across Singapore, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Bengaluru. The new funding will support the next stage of growth for both its consumer app and private client service.
