Revolut has launched its Ultra tier in Singapore, its highest-level offering in the market.
Priced at S$899 a year or S$89.99 a month, Ultra combines travel, lifestyle and investment features in a single subscription. Revolut says the package offers more than S$10,000 in annual value, including more than S$6,000 from bundled subscriptions.
The launch adds a new top-end product above Revolut's existing Premium and Metal plans. It also reflects a push to attract higher-earning customers who may not meet the income or credit criteria often attached to traditional premium banking products.
Revolut cited YouGov research it commissioned, which found that 64% of respondents in Singapore had been excluded from premium banking because they did not meet minimum income requirements. The plan targets mass-affluent customers, entrepreneurs, consultants, creators and others with non-traditional income patterns.
Ultra includes a platinum-plated World Elite Mastercard debit card weighing about 17 grams. It also gives users access to 18 subscriptions, including ChatGPT Go, foodpanda's pandapro, Financial Times Premium Digital, MasterClass, ClassPass, Headspace, NordVPN Complete and The Athletic.
Other subscriptions in the bundle include Sleep Cycle Premium, Freeletics, Picsart Pro, Headway Premium, Tinder Gold, Lovable Lite, LaundryHeap+, Flo Premium, Super Duolingo and WeWork credits. Revolut says these subscriptions were selected and localised for customers in Singapore.
Travel focus
A large part of the offer centres on travel. Ultra users receive unlimited access to more than 1,600 airport lounges, unlimited Fast Track access at more than 180 airports, and 5GB of global data each month across more than 100 countries through an eSIM.
The travel features also include insurance cover, with personal accident and overseas medical benefits of up to S$1 million each, trip inconvenience protection of up to S$10,000, and personal baggage protection of up to S$5,000. The plan also offers higher thresholds for overseas ATM withdrawals, foreign exchange and international transfers.
According to Revolut, Ultra customers can make unlimited international transfers without additional fees, exchange more than 35 currencies without additional fees, and withdraw up to S$3,500 from ATMs abroad each rolling month without Revolut fees.
Through Mastercard's World Elite programme, members also gain access to The Mastercard Collection, which includes dining, entertainment and travel offers. Additional benefits include merchant vouchers from Shopee, Grab and Amazon, as well as travel-related offers tied to car rental and hotel booking services.
Investment features
Revolut has also used Ultra to expand its investment proposition in Singapore. Subscribers will receive its lowest fee for money market funds at 0.10% and access to precious metals trading from 0.49%, with a minimum fee of S$1.49.
The focus on lower dealing costs reflects a broader effort by digital finance groups to combine payments, travel perks and wealth products in a single app. In Singapore, where banks and fintechs compete for affluent clients, bundling has become an increasingly common way to differentiate premium plans.
Revolut says it now serves more than 75 million customers worldwide. Singapore is one of its markets in Southeast Asia, where it has been expanding its consumer offering with paid plans and broader financial services.
Raymond Ng, Chief Executive Officer of Revolut Singapore and Southeast Asia, said Revolut was seeking to widen access to services typically associated with premium banking.
"Ultra represents a shift in how premium financial services are accessed. Entrepreneurs, creators, consultants and globally minded professionals deserve premium experiences without outdated qualification hurdles. With Ultra, we're redefining luxury as a subscription-transparent, predictable and instantly accessible. We've brought together over S$10,000 in annual value across travel, lifestyle, investing and everyday benefits in one membership, designed around how our customers actually live. Singapore's globally connected, ambitious community expects financial products to keep pace with their lifestyles. Ultra gives customers greater freedom to live, travel and build wealth on their own terms," Ng said.
