XTU has launched the S7Pro action camera, which is now on sale in the US and UK for USD $159.99 and GBP £159.99.

The new model sits at the top of XTU's action camera range and is aimed at creators, riders and outdoor users. It combines a 1/2-inch Sony CMOS sensor with a HiSilicon AI imaging pipeline, recording 4K video at up to 50 frames per second and capturing native 48MP photos.

The S7Pro uses a 152-degree seven-element ultra-wide lens, 1.6um pixel size and an F2.8 aperture. Those specifications are intended to improve detail, dynamic range and low-light image quality in outdoor and fast-moving settings.

Stabilisation focus

A central feature is the camera's Stabilization 5.0 system, alongside horizon stabilisation and 360-degree horizon correction. Support for Gyroflow workflows gives users another option for post-processing footage from activities such as cycling, surfing and riding.

XTU is targeting buyers who want steadier footage without moving to bulkier equipment. The S7Pro enters a crowded action camera market where image stabilisation, compact size and creator tools have become key points of competition.

Creator tools

Alongside its imaging features, the camera includes wireless microphone support with AI noise reduction and live streaming support. Voice control is built in, and it can switch automatically between landscape and portrait modes to suit different social media formats.

XTU has also added up to 50 seconds of 4K pre-recording, designed to capture moments before the record button is pressed. A 2.29-inch touchscreen is included for framing, preview and playback.

Wireless transfer is handled through 5GHz Wi-Fi 6, enabling faster previewing, file transfers and content management. That reflects a broader push by camera makers to shorten the gap between shooting and publishing, especially for users creating content on the move.

Mounting and battery

The S7Pro has a magnetic quick-release mounting system designed to let users move the camera between helmets, bikes, vehicles and tripods with less delay. It also includes an 1800mAh battery and PD fast charging for longer shooting sessions and quicker turnaround.

Another feature is in-vehicle loop recording mode, extending the camera's use beyond sports and travel into everyday driving. That places the S7Pro in a category that increasingly overlaps with dashcams, compact vlogging devices and social video tools.

XTU is best known for products including action cameras, video doorbells and trail cameras. With the S7Pro, it is pitching a camera that combines high-resolution video and stills with built-in workflow features at a price below many premium rivals.

The S7Pro is available through Amazon in the US and UK, as well as through XTU's own website in the US.

The published specification list includes 4K HDR video, native 48MP photo capture, a 1/2-inch Sony CMOS sensor, Stabilization 5.0, horizon correction, Gyroflow support, wireless microphone support, 5GHz Wi-Fi 6, voice control, automatic orientation switching, a magnetic quick-release mount, a 2.29-inch touchscreen and an 1800mAh battery.

It also supports live streaming, up to 50 seconds of 4K pre-recording and in-vehicle loop recording mode.
