Sharp launches new appliances in Singapore for festive upgrades
Sharp has released four new home appliances in Singapore aimed at improving convenience and comfort for households looking to upgrade their living spaces at the end of the year.
Microwaves
The company has introduced the Flatbed Microwave Oven (R-26SIF-BS, SGD $212), described as Singapore's first solo microwave featuring a flatbed design and inverter technology. This model features a spacious interior, which helps heat larger portions of food, a feature potentially useful for families or festive gatherings. The absence of a traditional turntable is intended to make cleaning more straightforward, as there is no component to remove or scrub.
Sharp has also launched the 4-in-1 Air Fry Microwave Oven (R-26CAF-B, SGD $393), which serves as a microwave, grill, convection oven, and air fryer. The company highlights the appliance's versatility, which allows users to prepare a range of foods, from oven-roasted meat to baked goods and air-fried snacks. The combined functions aim to eliminate the need for additional kitchen devices, saving space and streamlining food preparation.
Water heaters
The new Instant Water Heater with DC Pump and Rain Shower Set (WH-P315RN-MB) combines a minimalist design with several safety features. It offers five spray settings for a customisable shower experience. Pricing for the water heater starts from SGD $159, with the flagship model priced at SGD $371.
Sharp positions this water heater as suitable for unwinding after busy days or enhancing the guest experience with spa-like amenities at home.
Washing machines
To address increased laundry loads that may result from gatherings, Sharp has introduced No-Holes Tub top-load washing machines. Models are priced from SGD $635 to $740. The machines are designed to be gentle on garments and to save water and energy, aligning with Singapore's energy efficiency rating system by achieving a 4-tick rating.
Entertainment
Sharp's AQUOS 2025 4K Google TV Series is available in sizes ranging from 50 to 98 inches (starting from approximately SGD $1,299) and has been released to cater to home entertainment needs. Features include Dolby Atmos audio and high-definition visuals designed to create an immersive entertainment experience for households. The prominent 98-inch model is presented as a key feature for festive occasions or home gatherings.
The television series also features Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), which aims to enhance gaming performance by providing smoother visuals. Additionally, the built-in AI Karaoke feature introduces interactive entertainment options for family activities.
