Tiger Distribution & Logistics Company Limited (TSDC) has dramatically upgraded its warehouse operations utilising the Manhattan SCALE system, achieving a 20% boost in efficiency, consequently handling a higher volume of orders without the need to expand their workforce.

The software, now incorporated with existing warehouse equipment, enhances productivity and order processing times, managing TSDC's vast inventory and complex order fulfilment processes. "Operating with the Manhattan system allows our warehouse to process more than 112,000 orders per month, totalling more than 3 million products for each sale. Despite the increased workload, we have maintained the same amount of manpower to handle this output and remarkably complete tasks 20% faster - which is an amazing result," said Worachai Pathumapa from TSDC.

The decision to select Manhattan SCALE followed due consideration about how to streamline its warehouse and fulfilment centres. The centres, boasting over 40,000 sqm floor space, store more than 120,000 SKUs. As TSDC constitutes a vast part of a complex supply chain, managing inventory and orders became an increasingly intricate task. Amidst business growth and the complexities presented by omnichannel fulfilment, TSDC recognised the demand for evolved systems that could address these challenges.

The deployment of Manhattan SCALE brought about considerable benefits across TSDC operations. First, errors were reduced to less than 0.1%. Additionally, order fulfilment speed increased by up to 20%, thereby effectively managing a growing volume of orders without the associate requisite manpower increase.
